Throwing is a method of forming pottery pieces on the potter's wheel. Wheel throwing requires a lot of time and patience and demands more skills and techniques compared to hand building. Control the speed of the spinning wheel on the foot pedal, focus, and off you go!

HAND BUILDING
Hand building is a technique used in pottery whereby a manual spinning wheel is used and clay is sculpted with bare hands. Consisting of different building methods, hand building technique allows many possibilities of clay creations. Be creative, there are endless possibilities when it comes to clay!
2-in-1 Pottery Experiential Class
This is a full hands-on 2-in-1 experience, learn basic hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques to make your own items to be brought home. Workshop duration: 2.5 hours.
This option is kid-friendly and suitable for 9 years old and above. Please make a note upon booking if the participant falls between 9-12 years old.
What to expect:

Hand building (1.5-2H): Learn different techniques (Coiling/Slab Building/Pinching) to sculpt your own handbuild pieces - Make Bowl/Cup/Saucer.

Wheel Throwing (30mins): Learn how to create beautiful pottery pieces on the electric throwing wheel. Make a piece of Cup/Bowl.
Make: 1-2 pieces
Firing & Glazing: Included (Take home 1 piece of your artwork). Collection of artworks will be available after 4 weeks, as glazing and 2 rounds of firings are required
